Dev Ops Consultant | 9 months | London
Dev Ops Consultant who has experience in an software development background is needed for a 9 month contract based in London.
Job Specification
- At least 4 years implementation, ie hands on , experience in software delivery
- At least 2 years' experience as the technical manager of a development or IT ops team, preferably using agile and/or lean management methods, eg Scrum, XP, Kanban
- Evidence of applying DevOps practices, ie encouraging collaboration and consistent adoption of tools and processes across development and IT operations functions
- Experience with deployment and release automation tools, continuous integration platforms (eg Jenkins), infrastructure-as-code (eg Puppet, Chef or Ansible) and cloud services (eg Amazon Web Services, Rackspace Cloud, SkyScape)
- A background in Java or Scala development would be beneficial
- Advanced Linux systems administration skills beneficial (eg Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator or equivalent)
