Senior .NET Developer - 12 month opportunity in Italy
Are you a senior .NET Developer looking for an exciting opportunity to apply your skills on a long term-contract with a market leading client in sunnier climes?
Then this may just be the rare opportunity you've been looking for based in Bologna, Italy.
If successful, you will be responsible for modelling, developing and maintaining services in order to support my client's business growth model, in particular:
* Advising and assisting the incumbent team and senior business stakeholders on development matters
* Working on the integration and re-factoring of existing services;
* Managing the design and development of new applications and services;
* Maintaining and developing the team's software package;
* Developing unit and functional testing
To be considered you must have, as a minimum:
* A degree in computer science/similar discipline, or relevant industry experience
* At least 4-5 years' experience gained in a similar role in international projects and/or within an E-commerce company.
* Significant knowledge of the .NET frameworks - C#, ASP.NET, C++, SQL Server
* Excellent Back End systems knowledge (payment integration, pricing, Inventory management, Order gateway, Tax service, Shipping rules engine)
* Strong English communication skills (Italian language skills aren't required as English is the working language)
