Position Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Engineering team and help build products that support ANet’s mission. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the person will play a key role in helping implement our technology vision.

Our current software stacks are programmed in JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, and Go, and deployed on AWS. However, we are always evaluating new technologies; our tech stacks can and do change over time. This role may require working with a variety of different tools and environments.


Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Implementation of ANet’s next generation of the education technologies that are crucial elements of ANet’s core program offering

Creating, monitoring and delivering against the product road map and corresponding release cycles, supported by the product team

Experience and Educational Background:

Direct experience in the implementation of a consumer-facing web applications

5+ years of software development experience, with demonstrated success delivering solutions with high business value. Candidates must have experience in, and have knowledge of:A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

Web development frameworks

JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS

Scrum or other Agile development processes

RESTful Web Services

Scalable web application development

Software-as-a-service (SaaS) and Service-oriented architecture (SOA)

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

Salary for this position is competitive and depends on prior experience and qualifications.
