Description
Proteus Europe is currently recruiting for some C, C++ Algorithm developers who have prior experience in either the Video industry or have worked with image processing. The role itelf will be working with our clients ISP Research team, undertaking algorithm development for enhancements to their existing ISP products.The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and testing of algorithms and software to support SoC integration of image processing IP blocks with a variety of embedded processors. The position will involve working on the full cycle of algorithm development required to bring the algorithms successfully to market, including working with the Image Quality team to test their commercial viability under real world conditions.
Skills Required:
Essential:
- Ability to develop complex image processing algorithms
- Strong mathematical skills
- Software development in Matlab, C or C++. Platform independent code development would be helpful
- Excellent academic qualifications. PhD in a relevant research area strongly preferred
Desirable:
- Experience of ISP related functions such as noise reduction, demosaicing, 3A, HDR
processing, motion estimation
- Knowledge of ASIC/FPGA development flow
- Ability to quantify and make trade-offs between performance, area and power to meet product requirements
- MEX
- Scripting (Python/Bash/Tcl/Perl)
- Knowledge of CMOS sensors would be helpful
Experience Required: Strong experience in algorithms development within either image or video processing is essential, from either a commercial or academic environment. Candidates without this background will not be considered.
