Description
SQL Developer with very strong hands-on FastStats experience is immediately sought for three month rolling contract based in Bristol.
The SQL/FastStats Developer role is comprised of a mix of responsibilities based around the scoping, creating and consulting on solutions around marketing databases, data processing and campaign production.
Required Skills
Client facing, presentable, approachable, professional manner
Good working knowledge of database structures (and specifically SQL Server)
Understanding of data processing techniques and methodologies including deduplication, consolidation and suppressions
Experience of using FastStats, Alterian SDL or similar software
Experience of scoping requirements and technical aspects for proposed solutions and the ability to produce written documentation/specifications of planned work and created processes
Good communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear manner and experience of dealing directly with end clients
Good evaluative and problem solving skills
Excellent time management and prioritisation skills with the ability to juggle many tasks at the same time
Desirable Skills
Ability to create and manage SSIS packages for the creation and update of regular data processes
Experience of Cygnus data processing software or similar
IIS, web service creation and online reporting
Formal testing experience
