My client is a leading investment firm is looking for C/C++ Developer to join their electronic trading infrastructure technology team. This is a rolling 12 months contract.
The ideal candidate will have good C/C++, experience in large scale Real Time systems, excellent knowledge of data structures, algorithms, compiler technologies, and good communication skills. The candidate will be responsible for the analysis, design, implementation, testing and release of strategic and tactical solutions in improving the scalability and performance of our underlying trading infrastructure libraries.
Primary Responsibilities:
An ideal candidate will have strong appetite for solving complex software engineering problems in a global setting, experience writing production
C/C++/Python code, and R&D skills to address tough problems head-on. Candidates will be expected to collaborate with a global team of
like-minded peers and work in a team setting. Knowledge of financial systems and related business technologies (eg FIX) is NOT a requirement -
we are seeking people from a technology IT background, that have a track record of completing interesting software projects, from the finance, Internet, Telco or IT industries.
Skills required:
- Strong C/C++ skills.
- Python.
- Proficiency with Linux.
- Mature project life cycle, source control, and testing methodologies; experience with automation, agile, and continuous integration a plus.
- Knowledge of financial business technologies (eg FIX) is not required.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
