Description
A Renewable Energy client is looking for a Onshore Cable Installation Supervisor for their offshore wind farm project. Our client is looking for an individual who can start this role approx. 2nd November 2015 and end approx. 31st August 2016 with the possibility a further 3 months extension. Hours of work: 5 working days per week. 8 hrs in average.Responsibilities:
- Supervision of the onshore cable installation works (route and substation)
- Ensure installation takes place according to design
- Ensure contractors and subcontractors deliver to quality and perform in safely manner
Qualification:
BSc Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering of equivalent professional experience
- Minimum 2 - 3 years of practical as well as theoretical experience within HV export cables, components or installation onshore
- Must have all the skills of a good project engineer (technically skilled, integrity, communication, adaptability, teamwork, decision-making and planning) and preferably experience with the clients IT tools/procedures
Special Provision:
The Consultant must bring his/her own PC with Microsoft Office 2007 software of newer, and mobile telephone.
