Professional Themes is an open-source software company that specializes in online solutions for small businesses. Our primary focus is helping customers build beautiful business websites, whether it’s through WordPress theme and plugin development, customized projects, or partnerships.We currently offer a number of WordPress themes on both WordPress.com and Creative Market and are looking for a theme support engineer on a part-time basis.
Your primary responsibility will be to, first and foremost, support our theme customers via email and forums. You will also be responsible for finding and resolving theme bugs, maintaining our current theme codebase, and coming up with enhancements to our already successful theme offerings.
Strong writing and communication skills are a must, as well as deep familiarity with WordPress plugins and themes, Underscores by Automattic, and version control. We pride ourselves on giving incredible support and our company culture is one founded entirely on “early and often” communication. Our ideal candidate is one who communicates well, who is self-driven, and who loves WordPress themes.
