SQL Data warehouse developer, investment banking, LondonSQL data warehouse developer is required by my client who is based within the financial services sector in the city of London. My clients need for a strong SQL data warehouse developer is because they are looking to grow their team who have been building a new data warehousing platform.
This is a very strong team who are at the forefront of their space within asset management. The team itself has been building strong scalable solutions within this area for a while and by having an additional SQL data warehouse developer they will be able to build out his new data warehouse platform to provide unique reports to the rest of the business. This SQL data warehouse team is looking to expand for a short period of time to help build out this solution.
They have investment in this area from the business which is down to the approach they take on being able to deliver pure cutting edge technologies to different business areas for their demanding client base rapidly. The role needs a strong SQL data warehouse developer who has the ability to utilise the full Business Intelligence stack along with reporting technologies such as Business Objects however they are still utilising the SSIS and SSRS technology as well.
This role will require the SQL data warehouse developer to work on various areas of the build and will have exposure to liaise directly with the business therefore you will need to have experience of working within investment banking and have a good background to various products.
This is an initial 3 month contract role with the maximum day rate up to £450pd
Essential Skills
- Strong SQL Data warehousing development experience including SQL 2012
- Creation of SSAS Cubes including design and build - Strong MDX experience
- Proven experience within the full BI stack
- Kimball methodology in previous roles and a good understanding of it would be highly desirable
- Experience within investment banking is ESSENTIAL
