Digital Optimisation Manager | Global Travel Brand | Berkshire | 6 Month contract (To £430pd)

An exciting opportunity has arisen at one of Mobile Talent's biggest clients to join their marketing and digital team. Reporting directly into the Head of Digital Optimisation, you will be responsible for the execution a multi-device, cross-platform optimisation strategy, continuously improving online conversion and maximising performance.

Requirements:

  • Must have at least 7 years of experience in digital marketing or E-commerce and 3-4 years specifically spent delivering digital optimisation programmes based upon A/B and Multivariate Testing in a high volume, B2C, digital environment
  • Educated to degree level in Business, Marketing, Finance, Maths or Analytics
  • Demonstrable experience of significant contribution to the development and successful delivery of both site experience and campaign optimisation strategies and associated roadmaps
  • Responsibility for management of agencies and comprehensive involvement in commercial decision making
  • Experience working across multiple markets
  • Evidence of collaborative working that demonstrates a flexible approach to delivery
  • Commercially focused and highly driven to meet targets with a meticulous approach to work
  • Strategic thinker with a passion for the digital world and a wealth of knowledge about delivering online customer conversion
  • Good communicator with strong influencing skills who is able to interact with people across all various disciplines
  • High degree of familiarity with, and aptitude for, analytics and optimisation tools such as Omniture, Adobe Target, Google Analytics, Optimost, Maxymiser, Webtrends or Tealeaf.

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively optimise the customer journey across our portfolio of Digital Solutions (responsive sites, mobile apps and Legacy platforms)
  • Introduce, and drive the optimisation of new sales and/or support channels
  • Define, maintain and deliver on a rolling three month testing roadmap that fully utilises marketing leading tools including Maxymiser, SessionCam, UserZoom, and EyeQuant
  • Leverage our investment in optimisation by expanding the multivariate testing programme
  • Work very closely with the rest of the Digital Customer Experience team and the Head of Acquisition to increase the numbers of visitors to the direct websites by optimising existing channels, launching new channels, growing mobile and social, as well as supporting retention/e-CRM activity
  • Work with the regions to identify best practices and facilitate implementation across the portfolio of sites
  • Work closely with our conversion partner (currently Maxymiser) to build testing cycles that are directly aligned to the optimisation strategy
  • Align & prioritise testing cycles to cross platform visitor behaviour across EMEA
  • Help build a framework of insight to create a 360 degree view of visitor interactions
  • Engage with key stakeholders across the EMEA business to identify conversion opportunities, build hypotheses, facilitate test execution, analyse performance and communicate success
  • Maintain constant awareness of new technologies, trends and methodologies across the industry.
  • Communicate testing successes & failures back into the business. Educate the wider organisation on how our testing programme drives improved results
  • Regularly reconcile sales volumes against optimisation activity and continually demonstrate benefits realisation.
