Description

Our client, an IT consultancy, is looking to recruit the services of an experienced Financial Control Manager to work in Edinburgh for a large global banking organisation.

Core duties will include:

  • Monthly reporting of product and cost
  • Working day 4 & 5 Flash of numbers
  • Balance sheet substantiation
  • Risk and issues and understanding them
  • Resolution/finding solutions
  • Gathering information
  • Documentation of processes

Required skills:

  • Proven Financial Control management experience- ideally looking for candidates who have been generalists in their past roles, as this is a very generalist role
  • Professional Accounting qualification - 4 years post qualified
  • Proven financial control or reporting background with relevant experience
  • Finance sector experience desirable, not essential
  • experience of financial reporting/month end/following processes etc
  • experience of projects/change and processes.
