Oracle DBA 12 months Luxembourg
I am urgently seeking a strong Oracle Database Administrator for a high profile client in Luxembourg for a 12 month engagement.
You will be adept at working on large scale Databases and strong exposure with high availability clustered DBs using RAC. Range of Oracle Databases from 9i upto 10g/11gR2 and shortly migrating onto 12c predominantly on Unix (Linux Red Hat). You will come from an Oracle Infrastructure background (production / support) to work on a mixture of project based work and BAU activities and excellent trouble shooting skills expected. All the usual DBA skills expected to a high level - eg. performance tuning & optimising, backups, refreshes, recoveries, cloning, capacity & performance management, index maintenance and disaster recovery testing.
Desirable - any exposure to SQL Server but this is not essential.
Good communication skills (both written and verbal) is a must as will be liaising with multi- disciplinary teams both on and offshore.
