My client, who is a leading organisation and are experts in defence, aerospace, security and related markets, My client is looking for a number of experienced C++ Software Engineer - (C++ / GUI / Visual Studio / MFC / TCP).
The successful C++ Software Engineer - (C++ / GUI / Visual Studio / MFC / TCP) will be part of a multi-skilled team involved in researching and developing operational capability for high-end security applications. The focus of the role will be the development of new functions, integration of algorithms, interfacing to databases and development of user-friendly windows based GUI's predominantly in C++ using visual studio.
As part of your role as the C++ Software Engineer - (C++ / GUI / Visual Studio / MFC / TCP), you will be working closely with specialists from across a number of disciplines in the role of Software Engineer. The product focus is around embedded systems including all aspects of software radio design ranging from RF design and FPGA digital signal processing to output on windows based PC's. You will be joining a team that have developed a world-leading product within a rapidly changing technology space giving you the opportunity to work on cutting-edge capability.
Skills Required:
- Windows based C++ programming and GUI programming using Visual Studio, with experience in MFC
- Awareness of Networking protocol stacks (UDP,TCP)
- Software life-cycle, documentation and configuration management
Nice to Have (Not Essential) Skills:
- Real-time embedded C or C++,
- Intel performance primitives (IPP),
- FPGA design and definition using VHDL,
- Experience of SQL
- Solid practical knowledge of product development and engineering.
- Embedded Linux and TCP/IP network application programming,
Additional Requirements
- DV cleared (preferable), or a wiliness to undergo DV clearance

Paying up to £55,000 + Bens (Budget can increase depending on experience/skills)
