Description
We are urgently recruiting for a Software Engineer to join our client located in Paris , France. This is a one (1) year contract (220 Days). You will need at least B2 level in English. No other language skills are necessary for this role.
Our client is a public sector regulatory authority.
You Task Responsibilities:
- Develop, integrates, tests and documents application software modules implemented in
- Java to meet agreed business specifications.
- Performs technical testing and prepares the relevant technical documentation.
- Investigate, diagnose and resolve bugs and incidents of applications developed in the mentioned technology
Education and qualifications:
- University or college degree in computer engineering, computer science, physics or mathematics or a related discipline, or a level commensurate to the tasks
Core Knowledge and skills:
- Proven experience in application development in Java and JEE (min 5 years)
- Knowledge of developing applications based on JEE, Spring, JavaScript, CSS, XML, XSLT
- Good Knowledge of SQL
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration (Jenkins preferably) and Maven
General Knowledge and skills:
- Shell Scripting
- Knowledge of .NET would be a distinct advantage
- Knowledge of current PC technology, Client Server architecture and 3-tier architecture would be an advantage
- Good analytical skills and a problem-solving orientation
- Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivation and the ability to work in a team are very important.
- English B2 level or above
