Service Engineer – Solar InvertersOur client, a global leading telecommunication company are recruiting for a Service Engineer – Solar Inverters to join their business in the United Kingdom.
Position Title: Service Engineer – Solar Inverters
Position Type: Contract (3 days/week)

Responsibilities:
- Pre-sales support
-- Holding workshops with customers and partners on technical issues
-- Support technical and engineering bidding
-- Present technical services, solar products during live expositions
- Engineering support
-- Supervise project engineering processes, including kick-off meetings, hardware and software supervision, acceptance test
- Identification of Safety Issues and Stressors Associated
- Maintenance Support
-- Responsible for Hotline support and level 2 engineer support
-- Responsible for SLM and TLM technical support service to customer or partner independently or jointly with a technical support team
-- Onsite support in case of major or critical problems that can’t be solved by customer or local subcontractor according to SLA
-- Responsible for handling technical cases on ticket system
-- Responsible for Network Upgrade/Swap according to the team planning
-- Responsibilities include but, not limited to: Monitor the quality of on-site operation, updating
-- Quality analysis and improvement processes
Qualifications:
- 2+ years solary energy industry experience (i.e. technical commissioning service)
- Strong customer service background
- Good understanding of PV plant structures, roof top structures
- Experience with electrical schematic diagrams and specifications with the ability to pick out and interpret relevant information
- Valid CSCS Card, includes:
- CITB Health, Safety and Environment Test or Equivalent
- Health & Safety Awareness (HSA) or Equivalent
- 5 GCSEs C or above, including English & Maths
- Ideally A Level(s), BTec, HND, HNC or degree in an Electrical discipline
- C&G 2330 Electro-technical Certificate or Equivalent
- C&G th Edition
- C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing (or 2394 & 2395)
- NVQ Level 3 Building and Construction Operations
