Senior RF Engineer

We are currently recruiting for our client, a prestigious telecommunications company to support their project in China.

Position Title: Senior RF Engineer
Position Type: Contract
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 3/6 months initial

Responsibilities:
- Perform network audit with deep analysis of implemented configurations/strategies (Admission Control, Layering strategy, Mobility Management, QoS management…etc.) and identify potential weaknesses and propose corrective recommendations through Parameters tuning, Features activation/deactivation…etc.
- Perform capacity analysis (Radio Resources, HW resources, Licensing) and identify potential issues.
- Performance management (OSS tools, capacity to analyze counters pegging conditions and KPIs formulas…).

Qualifications/Skills Required:
- Strong experience of radio network optimization, Huawei 4G/3G/2G experience is essential.
- In depth subject matter understanding of UMTS and LTE (FDD/TDD): Parameters, Features, Algorithms…
- Strong VoLTE knowledge (Field experience preferred).
- Advanced end-to-end troubleshooting and analysis skills with UMTS and LTE using drive test logs, vendors traces.
- Good analytical, reporting and communication skills.
- Good experience of drive testing tools (i.e.:Genex Probe, Actix, XCAL/XCAP, MapInfo …).
- Results oriented with focus on customer satisfaction.
- Team player with ability to work in various international environments.
- Flexible for international mobility for short and long term missions.
