Strategic Planning/Customer Liaison Engineer - Water/Wastewater Networks, Sewerage, Design, NRSWA, CDM, DOMS
Our client has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Strategic Planner/Site Liaison Engineer with water and wastewater infrastructure design experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining customer relationships throughout the delivery of complex development and site specific solutions. This will include liaising with all stakeholders to ensure compliance to water industry standards and codes of practice.
Essential Skills
- Knowledge and understanding of key legislation and regulation eg Sewerage (Scotland) Act 1968, Water (Scotland) Act 1980, (Controlled Activities) (Scotland) Regulations 2011, Health and Safety at Work Act.
- Expert knowledge and understanding of Water Industry standards and specification.
- Expert knowledge of water and wastewater infrastructure design (including hydraulic and network modelling, construction methods, current materials, standards and specifications, software design packages eg Micro-drainage, CAD.
- HNC or HND qualification or equivalent in an engineering subject
- Full UK driving license and access to a car
