Electrical Systems Engineer - Automotive
Amoria Bond are working closely with one of their industry recognised automotive clients on a Electrical Systems Engineer requirement to work on their current and future projects their site in the South West. This is an exciting urgent requirement and interviews are taking place at short notice.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in the designing and delivery of the latest electrical and vehicle integration aspects within the engineering projects. This will include liaising within a multi disciplined team of engineers and may involve dealing with end customers. This is an initial 3-6 months contract with the likelihood of further extensions.
The successful Electrical Systems Engineer should be able to demonstrate a combination of the following skills and experiences:
*Experience in designing vehicle electrical systems
*Preparation of Electrical circuit schematics including fuse sizing and wire gauges
*Experience in designing vehicle harnesses including designing for EMC
*Specification and selection of electrical components
*Integration of components/systems into existing systems
*BOM preparation
*A good understanding of vehicle networks including CAN & CANalyzer
*Be CAD proficient, VeSys would be preferred
*Experience working on Hybrid/EV projects would be highly beneficial
*Experience working in a diverse environment that involves design and being hands on problem solving
*Practical Experience with creating wiring harness would be beneficial
