CONTRACT JOB - Design Engineer - Belfast
GCS currently have a position available looking for a Solidworks Design Engineer as detailed below;
Job Title: Design Engineer (Solidworks)
Location: Belfast
Rate: £28 - £30 Per Hour D.O.E
Duration: Monthly Rolling (Likely 3 months +)
The role:
- Solidworks CAD Design within the Automotive Sector
- Design of Prototype build & sub-system vehicular components (sourced)
- Taking prototype concept and following design and development process from start to finish.
- Working within a small team to design prototype equipment with strict deadlines.
The Skills:
- Extensive Solidworks CAD experience
- FEA/Stress Test - STATIC/Manual
- Prototype build and component sourcing.
- Sub-System drawing experience
- Experience with Automotive regulations, Passenger vessel regulations, Marine Industry, Naval architecture and Heavy weight freight Vehicles (15 Tonne+) are all advantageous but not essential.
