Looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to work with a public sector client.
Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer
The Maximum Pay Rate: £31.24- £33.74 UMBRELLA
Location: Rutherford Appleton Laboratory
Contract Length: 3 months with a view to a longer extension
Additional Info: Inside scope IR35
Specific skills:
Essentials:
AutoCAD/Autocad 3D experience.
Mechanical component design.
Production of Piping GA drawings and Isometrics (ideally +5 years experience).
Knowledge of appropriate design standards.
Design Experience of modular transportable piping packages
Desirables:
Recent AutoCAD plant 3D experience
Autocad plant 3d Spec. coding
Design experience of water cooling systems.
Design experience of inert gas systems.
Mechanism design experience.
Practical fabrication and assembly experience.
Experience of managing the integration of equipment into models
Proven experience of feasibility study work
