Description
Endeavour Recruitment is seeking a Senior Industrial Designer for Telecom Equipment (not handsets). As part of a team your role would be to develop designs from conception through to manufacturing. Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes is therefore essential. This is a 6-month contract initially paying excellent rates, based in Sweden. English speaking role.
Key responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be directing development from research and conception to manufacture. You must be able to communicate your ideas to engineers and maintain an understanding of industry standards, trends and competition. This role may require international travel from time to time, therefore a degree of flexibility is required.
Essential Requirements:
- BA/MA in Industrial Design or Design Engineering
- Minimum 5 years' experience in similar role
- Excellent feeling for form, proportions and CMF
- Strong understanding of latest trends
- Manufacturing and Materials knowledge
- You should be innovative and enjoy Model Making
- Proficiency with tools Pro-E (WF5/CREO), Solid Works, Rhino, Key-shot, 3DS, Adobe PS/AI
- Excellent communication skills
- Good organisational skills, self-driven and used to working to tight schedules
