Design Engineer - West Midlands - £32ph - £35ph - CREO
A leading automotive manufacturer are require a number of experienced Design Engineers for 6-month contract. You will use Creo Parametrics to produce high quality 3D CAD models and technical drawings. In addition, you will advise on design optimisation, manufacturing viability and cost effectiveness. Finally, you will use Windchill v10 to create a logical BoM structure.
Experience and qualifications needed:
+ Proficiency in using Creo Parametrics, Windchill (ideally v10 and PDM)
+ Experience producing 3D CAD models and 2D technical drawings
+ Experience and understanding of engineering change processes
+ Knowledge of composite use in design
+ Experience of automotive components, integration and BoM structuring
+ Defence Land Vehicle experience is beneficial
