THE PERSON
You will be educated to degree level in a Mechanical Engineering discipline, with strong experience in engineering the design of rotating components and assemblies. Your experience should include mechanical loading analysis, bearing selection, and material selection.
You will have a good working knowledge of classic stress analysis techniques, FEA analysis, and of low/medium volume production techniques. You will have experience of being responsible for design activity, from initial concept, through to detailed drawings for manufacture/testing. In addition, you will be highly competent in Solidworks.
