Enigma People Solutions has a new (6 month) contract position with our client, a world leading IST Imaging company.
This position is for a Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineer to work as part of the overall Hardware Engineering team to design, develop and document precision mechanical parts and systems as well as interfacing with suppliers and subcontractors. These designs need to take into consideration the integration of the optical requirements and the usage environment ie if it's for development, manufacturing or demonstration purposes.
Key Skills and Experience
- Ability to convert abstract ideas and concepts into reality.
- Precision Mechanical design
- Experienced in SolidWorks modelling and drawing generation.
- Experienced in motion control system design.
- Practical knowledge of fabrication.
- Team player
- Self Starter
Additional Skills and Experience
- Good soft skills for supplier and subcontractor management.
- Experienced in motion control systems design, particularly in the handling of very small components
- Familiar with Autocad
- Familiar with Scripting languages such as Python
