Description
Performance Engineer/Calibration Engineer required for a leading client in the automotive sector. The client that I am working with are well established in the automotive sector and they have some exciting projects working on both Legacy and new engine design. The relevant Performance Engineer/Calibration Engineer has the opportunity to work on a consistent flow of projects and the contract will be extended.
The role requires the relevant Performance Engineer/Calibration Engineer to;
- Optimise engine performance
- Work on the validation and calibration on diesel engines
- Liaise with the stakeholders and internal team to come to a solution on performance
- Understand how to use software tools ie Matlab, GT-Power and Simulink
It is desirable that the relevant Performance Engineer/Calibration Engineer;
- Has worked in the motorsport industry before
- Has used FMA tools, FMEA and 8D problem solving
