We are looking for CCIE Network Engineers required to join Global Telecoms Service Provider.Engineer will represent Cisco and spend the work time at customers Network Operations Center (NOC) in Kosice / Slovakia.
In that role the engineer is involved in high-touch technical consulting roles with the customer, demonstrates deep technical capability, together with the ability to fully understand all aspects of a customer’s technical and business environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Analysis of complex network designs and diagnosis of networking problems
- Act as the technical specialist and lead for complex customer environments
- Strong business acumen, including the ability to fully understand customer's overall technical and business needs
- Ability to communicate with different customer instances including also different management levels
- Good collaboration with the service delivery team for the customer
Engineers should have skills in the following technologies:
- Nexus 7000 Fabric Path
- Nexus vPC
- Nexus 2000 Fabric extenders
- Catalyst 6500 and VSS
- Nexus 1000
- Cisco 7600/ISR/ASR9K
- CCIE level skills for Routing & Switching and Datacenter technologies
In-depth knowledge and experience with:
- Incident Management (together with Cisco TAC)
- Problem Management
- Change Management (plan, prepare, execute & support changes in the networks)
- Fluent in English language; local language is a bonus but not a requirement
