My client have been established for over 70 years.
As soon as my client started operating, they expanded globally. My client is looking for a Structural engineer the consultant who will be responsible for designing and calculations during this complex project. They will be monitoring planning and scope, budget, schedule and quality.
Duration: 12-month renewable contract
Location: Rotterdam, Netherlands
Start: ASAP
Duties will include:
Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with applicable codes and standards, procedures and the basis of design and defined scope of work
Managing assigned work to meet project needs and working proactively with team members to ensure goals are met and issues resolved
Accepting responsibility for scopes of work and effectively managing delivery and change
To be successful in this position you should possess the following skills and attributes:
Recognised Civil or Structural Engineering degree
5+ years' experience within structural engineering
Relevant oil and gas engineering experience, petrochemical, onshore or offshore
Extensive design and analysis experience of onshore structures
Knowledge of: SACS, Tekla and PDMS.
Sound understanding of international design codes
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and previous experience with presentations to clients and colleagues
