Description
Marine Fabricators are required - multiple positions - 3-month contract, plus extensions, based on the Isle of Wight.
Working within a busy aluminium boat building environment, you will be required to prepare and assemble metal components for welding in to the new boat.
Day to day duties:
- Using hand and machine tools
- Assembly and pre-fabrication of frames, girders
- fitting Shell plates
- Welding of metal fabricated items using MIG,
- Working with aluminium some stainless steel
Knowledge/Experience:
Must have aluminium experience:
- Apprenticeship or similar training as a Fabricator
- Experience of working with a wide range of instructions/drawings requiring some interpretation
- Ability to work as part of a team to achieve quality standards and meet production deadline
- Maybe required to work night shift with uplift
Initial Contract is 3 months plus extensions
Mon - Friday - Saturdays and Sundays maybe required at managers discretion
Rate of pay: £16 - £19.00/h Ltd/Umbrella co
