Description

My client, a leading Medical Device manufacturer are looking for Solidworks Expert to join them on a contract basis for an initial 12 months at their site in Dublin, Ireland, start date immediate.

Job Responsibilities:

* Utilize Solidworks software to create and modify mechanical components.

* Maintain CAD data within Solidworks PDM system

* Collaborate with vendors to produce mechanical components and assemblies

* Create engineering drawings, both 3D and 2D.

* Maintain Bill of materials accuracy

* Responsible for recording and sharing technical knowledge gained with colleagues.

* Working with cross functional team members to ensure completeness in documentation.

* Adhere to design control and risk management policies.

Requirements:

* Solidworks CSWP and CSWP-Drawings qualifications.

* Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology or equivalent technical Degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

* Minimum 3 years' experience

* Experience with Medical Device Directive (MDD), ISO 13485, FDA design controls or similar regulatory environment.
