Mid-Level electrical engineers from the local area are needed for a long-term contract assignment (with a distinct possibility of being hired direct) to work on multiple commercial facility rehab, upgrade and repair projects in NY.Description of Work:
Design, engineering, field inspection of projects including but not limited to, fan plants, Signals, pumping facilities, substations, power distribution SCADA, Lighting, I&C for Bus Depots, Stations, Shops/Yards, Structures, or other Authority Facilities as required including the following: Design, Drafting review and approval, Field support of Construction and Field surveys/investigation.
Qualifications Requirements:
A Baccalaureate Degree or Graduate Degree in Electrical Engineering. Good analytical, decision-making, interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills; effective participation in a team oriented, multi-disciplinary environment.
Experience Requirements:
5 years Full-time satisfactory experience commensurate with the title in design work related to traditional electrical, medium/low voltage power distribution, lighting or instrumentation and controls in a major transportation or related industry including drafting using Microstation CADD or AutoCAD, design, review and approval.
Familiarity with electrical based systems. Working knowledge of Electrical based designs, specification writing using Microsoft Office Suite and Microstation CADD or AutoCAD experience. Knowledge of BIM desirable but not required.
