Description
The People Network are currently working with an F1 Team based in Oxfordshire who are seeking a contract Mechanical Aero Design Engineer.This role will be working within the aero design team who are responsible for the mechanical system operated on the wind tunnel model and test facility.
The Skills needed for this contract are:
Demonstrate excellent CAD (preferably CATIA) producing robust parametric models.
Expertise in the principles of BS 8888
Knowledge of GD&T
Has 5 years' experience in motorsport, automotive, aerospace or high end engineering industry.
Degree in an engineering discipline
Create innovative and creative solutions to engineering challenges.
Understanding of typical Formula 1 wind tunnel model layout and systems.
Demonstrates a knowledge of modern wind tunnel facility operation.
