Role: Mechanical Services Engineer
Location: Loughborough.
Contract position: 1 year
£35 per hour negotiable
Worldwide leading science-based technology company.
Role:
As a Mechanical Services Engineer you will ensure that the facilities and utilities that enable our clients specialist manufacturing equipment are designed correctly and installed safely. The position would be based at Loughborough but the role would engage with stakeholders and the engineering teams located at other UK sites.
Skills & knowledge required:
Proven technical ability and experience in Mechanical Services
Integrate and work closely with customer groups and suppliers
Develop quotations, place orders and manage from delivery to validation of equipment on time and within budget
Specifying, installing and commissioning of mechanical services for facilities, including BMS
Knowledge of BSRIA/CIBSE guidelines and National Standards, Health & Safety with legislative requirements
Knowledge of building regulations and environmental requirements
Use of CAD/modelling packages essential.
Qualifications:
Must have either a HND/Degree in Mechanical engineering or equivalent in NVQ level 3 with experience.
Must have 5 - 10 years related work experience in this field.
