Vivid Resourcing are currently recruiting for a Senior Quality Engineer for an Aerospace Client based in Gloucestershire. They are looking to recruit a knowledgeable and proactive contractor for a 6 month rolling contract to aid with upholding the quality and engineering standards.
You will be investigating both internally and externally identified quality issues and supporting the quality culture of the business.
You will have sole responsibility for the planning, implementation, and administration of complex Quality Programmes to assure that a system is in place.
The right candidate will have the following attributes:
- Experience within the Aerospace Industry or a similarly regulated industry is essential
- Confidently lead and facilitate complex problems solving activities resulting in the completion of customer-visible investigations using the 8D methodology or similar
- Exposure to APQP type activities either in aerospace (AS13000, AS13003, AS13004) or the equivalent activities in automotive is essential
- Be able to facilitate Process and Design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis
- Lead improvement activities associated with zero Defects approach using defect prevention tools
- Have experience of implementing corrective action activities to ensure robust CAs for systemic issues are introduced within the company defined timescales.
This is a 6 month rolling contractual position based in Gloucestershire aiding an aerospace client.
