Description
Vivid Resourcing are recruiting for a Precision Engineering client based in Gloucestershire looking for a Quality Inspector on a 6 month contract basis beginning in the early part of next year.
This client produce precision engineered components for a number of industries including aerospace and defense clients.
You will work within ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 guidlines to ensure the quality of precision engineered components.
This will include:
- Final inspection of components using CMM, Projector and other measuring equipment
- Control and dispatch of finished product to customers
- Create and complete First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) when required
- In-process and patrol inspection
- Control NCR processes
- Management of calibration of inspection equipment
- Assist with preparation of quality documentation
Quality Inspector requirements
Previous experience in an engineering/manufacturing role ideally within medical/aerospace industry.
Excellent working knowledge of final inspection techniques
Capable of reading engineering drawings
Knowledge of ISO 9001 & 13485 would be an advantage.
Good IT skills to help with the preparation of quality documentation
