Mechanical Design Engineer (Contract - Inside IR35)
Based in Horsham, West Sussex
Flexible on rate - dependent on experience
An innovative Design and Manufacturer of specialist tracking and surveillance equipment are currently in the market for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join them on a contract basis, with the potential of lasting last up to 12 months.
Key Accountabilities:
- Produce Designs in 3D CAD using Solidworks
- Designing Electro-Mechanical products
- Testing and providing Analysis on Stress, Fatigue and Vibration
- Support other teams such as Production, Test, Bids, Sales etc
- Create Engineering & Assembly technical documentations
- Develop Engineering reports for NPD's and failures

You must have:
- A relevant degree, ideally within Mechanical Engineering
- Previous experience from a Highly Regulated Engineering/Manufacturing sector
- Previous experience designing highly complex mechanisms
- Full experience of the Design life cycle - Concept to Test/Production
