Electrical Engineer required for our client, a global technology company based in Cork, Ireland.

The role will be responsible for performing lab tests, such as failure analysis on various products and materials. The contract is initially 12 month with a high likelihood of extension. This company has state of the art facilities and a world class culture, working with some of the best in the industry.

Desirable Technical Skills Requirements:

Hands on experience with electrical testing, with LIT or TDR as a plus

Familiarity with a wide variety of electrical characterisation techniques

Understanding of circuit design and fault isolation

Expertise in fundamental failure analysis methodology to derive a root cause of failure

Ability to convey complex data sets from multiple sources into a concise and understandable form

Organised with extraordinary problem solving abilities

Excellent verbal and written communication

Willing to collaborate closely across the organisation

Enjoys working with a highly motivated lab team

Flexible and able to quickly change course to meet the needs of the business


This position requires 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering/failure analysis.

B.S., M.S. or PhD in an Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (Applied Physics or Mechanical Engineering, for example).
