I am currently looking for a Resident Engineer for a major European engineering contractor on a Windfarm project based in central Scotland.This will be on an initial 6 month contract at a competitive rate of pay with a view to an immediate start for the right candidate.
Much of the work involved is surrounding Wind Turbine bases and control buildings so you should have a strong Civil Engineering background with particular expertise in foundations, reinforced concrete and groundworks.
Ideally you should have experience within the Renewable Energy sector, however work in the Power Gen, Petrochemical or Oil & Gas sectors is also acceptable.
Chartership would be beneficial as the client do have a preference for a chartered engineer however this is not essential as long as you have demonstrable experience of working in Resident Engineer/ Site Management type roles for principal/sub contractors.
HSE is as always very important and you should posses the relevant documentation to undertake such a project.
