Urgent - Design Engineer - Automotive Tooling - Wiltshire - 3 Month Rolling - £ Neg
My client based in Wiltshire urgently requires a mechanical design engineer to bring an additional level of skill to the design team at a large automotive company.
The candidate will be working on the mechanical design of body equipment. Predominantly welding jigs, fixtures, special purpose machinery and robot cells. In addition to this the design of paint process equipment, trim final assembly and testing equipment will also be covered in this role.
Skills/experience
- Recent experience (within the last 2 years) of BIW tooling design
- Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent
- Highly proficient with Catia V5
- Experience with special purpose machinery/tooling
