Propagation Model ExpertOur client, a global leading telecommunication company are recruiting for Propagation Model Expert to join their business in Ireland.
Position Title: Propagation Model Expert
Position Type: Permanent

Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct advanced propagation model technology research
- Define and document new propagation model requirements and strategic direction based on technology development and market requirement
- Propagation modeling technology roadmap and innovation planning
- Perform design of advanced propagation models for GSM, UMTS, LTE, LTE-Advanced, 5G, CDMA/EV-DO, TD-SCDMA, WiMAX and WiFi
- Specify and implement simulation models and software prototypes of new propagation model
- Author and present customer-facing presentations and written technical materials
Qualification:
- 10+ years of experience mobile communication technology area
- 5+ years of experience in ray optical propagation model technology research roles
- Capability of design and development of ray-tracing/ray launching propagation models with industry leading competitiveness
- International influence in propagation modeling technology field
- Outstanding contributions in propagation modeling related communication standard forums or standardizations or organizations
- Experience with at least one of the following programming languages: C, C++, Java, Python, Matlab
