Project Management Opportunities - Midlands based - Permanent ..Exciting new opportunities have now come available for two Project Managers to be based at the Head Quarters in the East Midlands. As a Project Manager your primary role will be to develop, implement and then manage a range of capital projects by taking the lead role in the provision of world-class capital management services across the sectors in which we operate.
- Executing the promised Capital program of work, fulfilling their cost, scope and schedule requirements by managing the resources, risks and quality of execution effectively.
- Working with the client team to develop, challenge, validate and confirm project scope ensuring options are explored, challenged and the most appropriate solution and suppliers selected.
- Enforcing the gated capital management and governance processes.
- Ensure world class operational principles are incorporated into the solution, such as lean principles, lifecycle equipment care etc.
- Diligently recording and managing actions, risks, issues and decisions - ensuring full traceability through each phase of the project.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation such as CDM, PUWER, ATEX, PSSR etc., ensuring we educate and transfer client capability in this area where appropriate.
- Support the client in the development of minimum operational and reliability performance standards and associated test specifications to support design, commissioning, handover and ongoing maintenance.
- Supporting supplier selection and contract negotiation, technical assessments, pre-delivery inspections and acceptance testing.
