Description
MapQuest is looking for contributors to provide authentic, opinionated local content for our new website, Parachute. We want contributors who can write with a unique voice while providing practical, pragmatic information in a web-friendly format.Payment is provided at $10-$25 per accepted post.
Successful Parachute contributors will:
- Exhibit city expertise in every submission, creating trust with readers
- Have an ability to follow guidelines and self-edit.
- Be comfortable using a content management system (CMS)
- Be familiar with best practices for web-friendly, SEO content.
- Have a unique, fun, authentic and opionionated voice.
Priority will be given to contributors in the top 100 most searched domestic cities. We will not be producing international content at this time. While all submissions will be considered, note that we may already have contributors in your city.
