My client is a space company based in Belgium.
Due to an increased workload they are now looking for an experienced FPGA Design Engineer with experience in Modems for a 2 month rolling contract with the possibility of extension.
Job description
* To become part of a team experienced in modem developments
*To investigate feasibility on complex system requirements
*To be responsible for the VLSI design of the modem product, from concept phase up to testing
*To cooperate with the system engineer and hardware and software engineers in the team
Job experience
*Bachelor or Master in Electronics or equivalent through experience
*Good knowledge of VLSI design (Altera/Xilinx)
*Experience with VHDL FPGA/ASIC design for in-space environments is an asset
*At least 5-10 years of experience in a similar role
*Flight experience is an asset
Job competences
*Possess good communicative skills, being able to express yourself fluently in English.
