Hardware Engineer working with RF/Optical Products
RF optical hardware engineer with RF broadband and high speed optical experience. (military filed hardware bandwidth experience will be considered)
Testing and analysing background. Must be able to analyze data and if there is an issue be able to fix the problem and able to design hardware and make product.
Exposure to high speed digital products and RF technology
Heavy in test data (design adjustment, retest, or specification relaxation)
Needs to ensure regulatory compliance needs/test are met
Performs design changes and can modified products
High Voltage product skills
Can read/understand schematics and make schematics (part identifications and product), logical testing (bad/good unit)
Analyze data, direct technician to perform experiments
Exposure to high speed digital products, RF technology
Key skills are Hardware design with either RF technology or Optic Technology experience.
The person needs to have worked in the hardware design- RF technology/Optic experience within the past 5 years however does not need to be presently working in the field.
Additional Skills
This role will also have a component of regulatory and compliance testing. Hardware design- RF Optic experience as well as testing experience is preferred. ESP and Serge- they will test products for humidity etc. Product assurance also known as reliability testing preferred. Compliance regulatory issues testing- preferred.
Education: Must have Electrical Engineer Bachelor's degree; Preferred-MSEE; 3-5 years' experience outside of university
