Concrete Package Manager - Construction - 6 month contract

Our client, a major contractor, is currently seeking a Construction Package Manager to deliver a tricky concrete package.
The Construction Package Manager will be reporting directly into the Project Director. On a daily basis the Construction Package Manager will be responsible for managing the concrete package and groundworks for a tricky build.
Other responsibilities include:

.Understanding and programme works in detail to enable production delivery
.Manage sub-contractors ensuring safe system of work, production delivery and performance to plan
.Developing the construction program with the Project Manager and other technical team members
.Maintain document management systems
.Provide quality information for weekly/monthly reports
The project is an ongoing development for a great client of this particular contractor. Therefore, the selected candidate will have to have strong client facing skills and be able to communicate and bring a wealth of experience to the table.
To be considered for this position, the Senior Construction Manager MUST have:
.A stable career with one of the major Contractors
.Experience working on projects in excess of £15m
.Exposure to concrete and groundworks packages
.Excellent communication and organisation skills
.UK Experience is essential for this position
.Ideally this candidate will have an Engineering degree from a leading university however, you will also be considered if you have an engineering background.

The client is offering a competitive day rate.
