Description

IT Funds Project Manager

  • Develops and maintains ongoing relationships with business and technical communities
  • Manages process usability and load testing in testing and production environments
  • Manage the Ops process review life cycle with root cause analysis and metrics reporting
  • Ensures end-to-end test environment readiness by working with internal and external support groups
  • Assists with UAT effort
  • Prepares reports, presents information to management.
  • Identifies potential problems plus areas for improvement and develops and implements effective solutions
  • Evaluates tool sets, makes recommendations and justifies decisions
  • Knowledge of process flow development and analysis methodologies
  • Leadership, motivation and influencing skills
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Operations experience in Securities Finance, ideally with a Broker Dealer or Prime Broker
  • Financial trading and clearing domain knowledge essential; Fixed Income knowledge preferable
  • Minimum one year additional supervisory or project management experience
  • Prior experience of developing new Operation business flows
  • Extensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Project
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines and large testing projects

Experience:

  • Large IT Projects Environment, Transfer Agency
  • Experienced in managing large $1+ million multi-threaded projects with aggressive timeframes and complex requirements with key workstreams being IT, Operations and Client Engagement
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in large projects
  • Proven ability to quickly ramp up on complex subject matter and experienced in putting together and managing large working groups comprised of geographically dispersed senior SME's
  • Proven ability to clearly communicate with Senior Management and Executives (written and verbal) in order to achieve project objective
  • PMP qualification or similar
  • Experience in Transfer Agency and/or the Funds industry with knowledge of the Reconciliation process, and/or Investor Money Regulations
  • Experience working on Regulatory Projects
  • Client Facing experience
