Internal Communications Business Partner
My client, A leading Defence organisation based in Malvern is urgently seeking an experienced Internal Comms Manager to join their team for a minimum of 9 months. This is a full time role working 37 hours per week.
Internal Communication Duties:
- Working as part of the Internal Communications team you will advise, plan and execute the internal communications strategies for the Cyber, Information and Training business and group-wide activities.
- Reporting to the Head of Internal Communications you will be a key member of the Internal Communications team to develop and implement engagement strategies and plans
- Advise the Cyber, Information and Training leadership team on communications to ensure that messages are clear, consistent, relevant and interesting, and aligned with the Group strategy
- Manage Cyber, Information and Training communications channels such as business updates, publications, newsletter bulletins and the monthly briefing
- Share content and news updates for communication to wider employee audiences
- Managing the Cyber, Information and Training Graduate Internal Communicator
- Establish and maintain a network of key contacts to monitor feedback, to act as a source for news stories and as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders on communications best practice
- Work with Employee Engagement Group representatives to promote their role locally
- Undertake other communications related projects as required
Internal Communications experience required:
- Substantial and in depth experience of internal and change communications
- IT and computer literacy
- Copywriting
- Stakeholder management.
- Strong character- Must be assertive and dilligent with excellent people skills
- Must have experience of working with Senior Leadership Teams
