Communications Specialist - London
Our client a global information and technology services company within the healthcare industry require a Communications Specialist to develop communication strategies by creating materials for internal and external audiences.
Principal Accountabilities:
Preparation of plans that detail the tactics to be employed in communicating news, developments, and propositions to each relevant audience. Interviews various sources inside and outside the Company to gather raw information. Writes copy, edits copy, coordinates review and approval, and oversees production of materials. Working with other communication professionals to ensure that information is disseminated in an effective and timely manner.
Skills Required:
Degree Level Education or equivalent in Journalism, Communications, Business Communications, Public Relations, or related area; experience in communicating to the targeted audience (employees, customers and prospects, suppliers, or the media for example); Familiarity with production processes and technologies for various media, including: print, video, the Intranet, and other electronic media. Organization Reporting and Scope: Typically reports to: Mgr, or Dir, Communications. Strong writing, editing and interviewing skills. Ability to express thoughts in writing and orally. Any background in the Pharmaceutical or Healthcare industry would also be of interest.
