A Pre-Sales consultant is needed with a well-established and significantly growing financial investment management software company, this position will focus on the risk software. Due to rapid expansion and a need for high - quality candidates, they are now looking for an experienced Pre- Sales consultant to come in and undertake a number of key responsibilities and to assist the sales team to manage and close end to end solutions sales opportunities with buy-side institutions within the UK.
This Pre- Sales consultant position will focus on the 'Performance and Risk' module therefore candidates who have strong risk knowledge would be highly desirable: MSCI, Algorithmics, Riskmetrics, Calypso, Murex, Wilshire, Murel, Bisam, Statpro, Evestment, Pertrac, Slyvan, Anova or Finacal
Responsibilities of the Pre- Sales role:
- Taking full responsibility for the 'functional sell'
- Completion of high quality responses to prospective client RFI's & RFP's
- Mapping requests from the customer with the product and services offered
- Preparation and delivery for detailed software presentations and workshops
- Responsible for the project management workshops carried out during the sales process and capable of moderating these workshops
- Ensure detailed information transfer from the sales process to the implementation team after a contract has been signed
- Gain an overall knowledge of all areas of the product and become an expert
- Assistance with implementation projects
Experience for the 'Pre Sales' role:
- 2 years' experience working within a pre sales consultancy role, selling complex solution based sales preferably within the Asset Management arena
- Detailed understanding of the Asset Management area
- Excellent customer relationship skills - ability to focus on and understand customer requirements
- Ability to cooperate and work collaboratively with colleagues, prospects and customers to reach solutions
- Ability to identify market trends that may have an impact on corporate sales techniques
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Flexibility and willingness to travel both within the UK, EU and Middle East
- Methodical, hardworking, enthusiastic and able to work well under pressure
For the right candidate a salary of up to 85k can be offered.
