Description
2 x Microsoft Exchange Administrators are needed for long term contracts with an international IT organisation in Valencia, Spain. The positions will provide Exchange Administration help with the design and implementation of company policies and procedures, plus standard support and administration of exchange deployments and messaging platforms.These are English speaking roles but knowledge of Spanish or French will be a bonus. Valencia itself is a great and highly recommended city, offering fantastic food and drink, a great beach, amazing architecture and above all a very low cost of living making it the ideal location to spend time in.
The Exchange administrator will:
- Work on-site in Valencia, Spain five days a week plus support when required.
- Work with existing messaging administrators to deliver the Enterprise Communications Service (ECS)
- Collaborate with other teams and contribute to service and system monitoring and alerts
- Help action migration projects including Lotus Notes to Exchange
- Provide standard administrator duties within the Exchange and Office 365 environment
- Support and maintain the general infrastructure
- Assess and gather customer requirements and follow through on tickets and project tasks to completion.
- Work with others to define and develop documented procedures
- Participate in the on call roster (for support outside of working hours)
- Perform other activities as required.
Requirements for the role:
- Industry certifications in Exchange 2013 and Office 365.
- Experience in deploying and supporting Microsoft Exchange 2013 and supporting O365 Cloud and Hybrid environments and associated infrastructure.
- Experience with email migration projects from Lotus Domino to Exchange is a huge advantage.
- Active Directory skills including troubleshooting plus experience with Exchange/Outlook in a multiple forest environment.
- Strong Scripting skills for deploying Servers and Exchange roles entirely through scripts.
- Solid understanding of messaging and messaging platforms such as BlackBerry, SendMail, PostFix, Lotus Domino
- Knowledge of messaging security using technologies including PKI, S/MIM, DKIM.
- Experience managing enterprise messaging anti-spam and anti-virus platforms such as Microsoft Forefront.
- Experience with System Centre (SCCM, SCOM, SCVMM) is very valuable.
- Ability to write reports and procedure manuals.
- Excellent English communication skills
