Description
An excellent opportunity has become available with a leading IT communications organisation who are looking for a Cloud Architect Engineer. This is a 6 month Fixed Term Contract (pro-rata).
The successful candidate will have experience in Cloud Architecture design, with broad knowledge of all products and technologies involved.
Ideally, the right candidate will have come be University educated; Computer Science Degree, IT Engineering Degree or Telecommunications Degree.
Required:
* Minimum 3/4 years proven experience implementing IT Architecture Projects
* Proven experience in design and implementation of Cloud Service Catalog.
* Proven experience designing Cloud Solutions that incorporate:
o Virtualization Products (Vmware, Hyper-V and other enterprise solutions).
o Storage, Network Storage and Back up Products (Netapp/Commvault is preferable, but also valued to know IBM and HP options too)
o Network and Datacenter Architecture Solutions such as Cisco Nexus 7000, FW ASA, UCS, Load Balancer Products, as well as products from enterprise providers such as IBM, HP, Dell
* Exposure to IT Management Tools such as those for Automation, Orchestration, Monitoring, Capacity Planning from the following providers: HP, BMC, Vmware.
* Experience designing Hybrid Cloud Solutions, with knowledge about Public Cloud Provider solutions such as Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure. Certifications in this field is desirable.
Desirable:
* Certifications such as CNNA y CNNP DataCenter are desirable.
* Cloud Security Management
* Security Framework Design for Cloud Enviroments
* Elaboration and documeting Security Policies and its Framework
* Advanced Level user of Security Auditing Tools (Nessus, OpenVAS, Nikto, W3AF, Wireshark, etc.):
* Security information and event management (SIEM) knwloedge and Security Devices
* Security Event Monitoring
* Security Policy Assurance for Hardening.
* Knowledgeable about the following standards: ISO/IEC 27001, LOPD, SSAE16, PCI, CIS, etc.
* Disaster Recovery Plans.
* Security Incident Management.
